Tegemist on uue trendiga, enamus turistidest eelistab just niisugust majutust klassikalisete hotelli majutuste asemel. Niisugust majutus apartementides eelistavad eelkõige perekonnad lastega ning arvukamad inimeste grupid. Mõned Holiday apartemendid ja korterid majutavad kuni 12 inimest, see majutusvõimalus on seetõttu hinnatud suure arvu inimeste korral, kui soovitakse majutust „ühe katuse all”. Apartementides on köögid koos vajaliku varustusega söögi valmistamisel, külmkapp, televiisor ja enamuses ka interneti kasutamise võimalusega. Niisugusel majutusel pole enamuses samas majas vastuvõtuteenust ega tubade koristamisteenust. Teisest küljest on selletõttu rohkem eraviisilisust. Vähem soodne on niisugune majutus selletõttu, et enamuses on vajalik võtta võtmed mujal asuvast kantseleist ning peab end registreerima ning enne lahkumist peab võtmed tagastama.
