Il existe à Prague deux types de sites d’hébergement (auberges). Sites d’hébergements saisonniers ouverts uniquement durant l’été, et classiques ouverts tout au long de l’année. Au cours des mois de juillet et août, lorsque les étudiants sont en vacances, beaucoup d’écoles et de pensionnats fonctionnent comme auberges pour les touristes, donc même pendant ces mois, l’on n’a pas de problèmes pour trouver une place dans ce type de sites d’hébergement.

Au cours des mois de juillet et août, lorsque les étudiants sont en vacances, beaucoup d’écoles et de pensionnats fonctionnent comme auberges pour les touristes, donc même pendant ces mois, l’on n’a pas de problèmes pour trouver une place dans ce type de sites d’hébergement. Toutes les auberges à Prague sont destinées aux touristes voyageurs dont les exigences sont les moindres et le budget modeste. La grande majorité des auberges offre des chambres pour 4, 6, 8 ou 10 personnes. Certaines auberges offrent en plus des chambres à seul ou à deux lits. Les chambres sont généralement petites, mais propres, sûres et en somme confortables. La plupart des foyers sont situés loin du centre-ville ou dans son  circuit, et il n’y a que quelques-uns qui se trouvent dans le centre historique de Prague. Les prix par jour et le lit commencent à partir de 180 CZK et peuvent atteindre 600 CZK, le prix d’une chambre à deux lits est d’environ 1000 CZK par nuit.
