Apartamentele holiday reprezintă de obicei o alternativă mai ieftină a hotelurilor. Preţurile pentru astfel de apartamente sunt comparabile cu cele ale hotelurilor de 2 sa3 stele. Este vorba despre o tendinţă nouă, mulţi turişti dând întâietate acestor tipuri de capacităţi de cazare în faţa hotelurilor clasice. Cazarea în apartamente este căutată cu precădere de familiile cu copii şi de grupurile mari de persoane.
